The difference is in the dosis.
Digitalis (foxglove) e.g. is considered poisonous, but it has been used as a healing herb for heart complaints for centuries, and nearly every plant that we call poisonous can be used in medicine, because we know of its effect on the human system.
Even beneficial herbs that are otherwise harmless can have a bad effect if you overdose on them, or take them for too long a period.

Healing: Aloe Vera.
Poinsonous: Poison Ivy.

Not sure what the question is. Poisonous plants, when
used in large doses kill. But when used in a small dose,
kill other toxins and can heal!

Aloe Vera plants is known 4 being healing with acne, skin disease, colds, sorethroats, soreness, and some other cases.

healing : spanish moss
poisonous/toxic: diffein baccia AKA : dumb cane
dumb cane if eaten will swell the mucus membranes causing you to suffocate because your throat closes and your tounge swells, so you die.
spanish moss is great for a cute, it sterilizes it and helps it heal, this is what they used before they had rubbing alcohol.
and pointsettias arent really poisonous, it started when supposedtly a little boy ate them and then died, thats when they got a bad wrap, but it may be toxic to animals. so dont let your cats eat it.
