I have the same problem! I dance both Latin and Standard. Here is what I wear:

Latin:
Brand: International. Style: Melissa
Brand: Supadance. Style: 1403 Narrow
Melissa is narower than 1403 in the toes.

Standard:
Brand: Supadance. Style 1012
Brand: Supadance. Style 1003
If buying 1012 be advised that they run 1 zise smaller for some reason.

They go by English size which is your Amrican size minus 2. I.e. if you wear American 6 you wear British 4.

This website here takes special orders on Narrow and even Extra Narrow: http://www.dancesport.uk.com/shoes/index.htm It depends on the shoe brand whether or not they make narrow special orders. International is the best about it - they make narrow and extra narrow. What it supposed to mean is the width of the shoe corresponds to the 1/2 size less. I.e. Regular shoe size 6 has the length of the sole for size 6 and the with of the sole corresponding to the same size. The shoe 6Narrow has the lenght of the sole corresponding to the size 6 but the width corespond to size 5 1/2. This is what it supposed to be. But in reality, Narrow is not much narrower than regular. The trick that I use is I buy white satin shoes and color them to tan. This shoe dye seems to shrink them pretty effectively. I asked a similar question before, this is what other people have said: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhZUzlHdNEU_iaQhFDdlcVvsy6IX?qid=20060925012135AARTB5b
If you want something not as expensive try www.fethaerdanceshoes.com they are willing to take special orders but you have to ask for it. But I really recommend to stick to the top of the line (Supadance, International, Dance Naturals) and avoid knock-offs. Last word of warning - special orders are usually non-refundable. Check return policies on everything you buy.

I don't do ballroom dancing and I don't have a narrow foot (I've always been happy with Capezio) but here's a site with a bunch of narrow width ballroom shoes

With my ballroom students, I prefer them all to wear LaDuca shoes. They come in justm about every size imaginable because most models are made custom to the dancers foot. They are also the only ballroom shoe I have found that allows the dancer to point their feet.
