I belong to Washington Mutual. I recently lost my ATM/Debit card at a concert. I went to the bank to replace it., and two days later I was checking my online bank statement, and my mouth dropped! The bank charged me $75.00 for a Card replacement. I AM VERY ANGRY.Has anyone ever heard of this???

It really depends on who your bank coincides with. Some banks lets other bank members use their atms without a charge and then others will charge you and this charge can be up to four dollars. This is the most I have ever seen one charge. Some banks will charge you if you use another atm after so many times (this would be the bank that you are a member of). What you really need to do is ask someone from your bank for more specifics.

Nope. I've lost my ATM card before and had to get new ones and there was no charge for my replacement. I belong to Associated Bank.

The actual replacement card cost is about $40.00 but my bank only charges $5.00 The reason. They had people who constantly lost their cards. I would never use Washington Mutual for anything.

Go into the bank and calmly speak with a personal banker or manager. They can waive any and all fees on your account.

If you request some information about investing in an annuity or a mutual fund first, then they will want to make you happy by waiving fees.

Good Luck.
