My mother in law who is divorced and also works for me is going gambling after christmas. I'm giving her a bonus at work of cash, but I'm wondering if its innapropriate to give her like $100 for gambling money in a cute jar that says, Mad Money from me and my husband for christmas.

It's a great gift idea, and totally appropriate. If she gambles, then she'll enjoy it. My mother does the same for me on my birthday.

Why would that be inappropriate? Sounds like a wonderful. If you are giving her cash, I don't think she'll turn it down just because of what it comes in. A $100 is a $100. Plus, it's from her son too. So, what do you have to worry about. If your husband likes the idea, then you're safe because it's his Mama.

hmm i wouldnt give tt as a gift for xmas.. not labelling it as a Xmas gift. Why dont u give her that as a "good-luck-for-your- gambling" gift and give her something else for Xmas.. Xmas is a time for sharing, love and hugs. To contaminate it with money-for-gambling seems rather saintful to me (^_^)

Hope this helps!
Rem to rate me!

you're able to hold directly to it for a pair of months and spot how the dating seems. extremely merely take her to a action picture or dinner. perhaps you're able to provide it to her on a undeniable occasion mutually with Valentines Day or her birthday

Sounds cool to me. My MIL told us she still wanted a present from us even though I wasn't working.

If she does the same for you. It is no more than right to repay her with the same kindness.
