Love is not everything- it's the only thing. Then there is something called hope, hope is right up there with love. I've heard it said that "money is everything"- but I think we all know better- money can't buy you love! Nor can money buy good health and good sense. Love, Health & Contentment~ That is everything.

No... love isn't everything in life. There are many more things we have got to do other than roam behind a useless bf or gf. And if u refer to love beyond just gf-bf stuff, like love for mother, love for country and stuff like that, yes, i think that love's the only thing that motivates us to do something special and important in life. Just think, if u didn't love ur mother, would u have felt that she is urs? or that u have to do something to help her in her difficult times or something to repay all that she has done for u?? :-)

If I ever experience it other than a distracting surging of feeling in the heart, I'll be better able to answer this-meanwhile, I'll stick to logic and benevolence which may fit in a conceptual category of love but for me have no sentient relation

Idealistically, sure.
I can't consider love to be everything cause then I'd die from body problems such as insomnia and liver malfunctions and things like that.

No love is not everything, to me anyways. Love is wonderful, but you can survive without it. I am fortuante enough to have family and friends that ar ein my life for me to love, but i know a lot of people may not have that bond , but they do get by in life.

I personally consider there to be many other things as well as love in life but it would be hard for me to explain why in detail here.
I would probably do almost anything for someone if i loved them enough, but i would have to respect them as well.

When a person becomes "loving" ... as a way of being, life happens in a different dimension, at a newer level of consciousness, and experience is boundless joy !

No......
Love is not everything... nor is it the only thing..... Everything has not been known to us....... so we wont know what everything is until the whole of life's existence or "history" of the making has been accounted for.......

love...as it' s expressed in society today is worthless. it's merely a means to an end. i want something so i say i love you. that something is usually self serving. its rarely meeting about the other person's needs. it's all about how they make you feel and how they complete you.
i'm not down on true love but i think it's extremely rare.
