I think nothing . Dont you think that the chances of Sampras' playing Federer are rather low now ? God's sake , Pete's retired , and Federer has age on his side. But yeah , I do wish that they would play an exhibhition match , and that too on grass .That would be WORTH watching - a clash of the eras !

Federer may not have reached his peak yet... 1. On grass Very even... Federer would win some, Sampras would win some... What great matches they would be! 2. On clay Federer. not even close... Sampras's inability to take out a point for 100 shots thats required on a clay surface makes him vulnerable.. And as a serve and vollyer, Sampras is prone to being passed on clay as his serves are not goiing to have the same effect. Federer's a more complete player than Sampras so he has an easier time adjusting(namely reaching the French Open final last year)

Back in the day he would have given Federer a good game. But Pete doesn't have all the skills that Federer has. He would lose in his prime and now. But they would have been a better rivalry than Sampras and Agassi.

that's only one man's opinion. Sampras stopped playing in the tennis tour and Federer is getting stronger and wiser but it is still a prediction. Their match would be interesting!!!

you are right on his time only when he was in 7 years no1 that time only but age will not help for sampras to beat federer you must think that that is different

nope...federer's been playing consistently for so long, while it's been ages since sampras played some really tough matches.. it would be hard, especially against such a good player.. federer would win, no doubt...

Don't know about now, but Pete is his prime would serve and volley Federer off the court.
Roger has no competition these days. One of the reasons why he looks so great.

Was this a charity tournament or something? He doesn't play pro. Federer would win. They are/were equal in talent, but Federer is younger.

Is Pete playing now?
I haven't heard anything and I don't have as much time to watch sports as I used to.

as much as i like pete's wife, i dont think he could beat federer now, definately not. federer toys with opponents and dominates every win. pete would struggle now because even wimbledon isnt much of a serve and volley tourny anymore
