Don't like David Duke one bit, never have. Unfortunately, I must support his right to free speech. If we try to censor some while allowing others then it truly is not free speech. As for Iran and the Holocaust fiasco they have going on over there, again he has the right to be there if he chooses. We are not at war directly with Iran, so he is not consorting with the enemy perse, no matter how objectionable it might be. This conference has much bigger implications than whether or we like or agree with David Duke, he is a just a bit player on a big stage. The real problem here is the implication for Middle East relations with Israel as a result of this whole ignorant affair.

He has the right to free speech even if I disagree with him.

What about you left wingers, do you support David Duke's position regarding free speech?

Don't know his position, per se, but we've never supported David Duke or his ilk (people like KKKer Robert Byrd, for example). Instead of supporting and embracing racists as the Dems have done, we reject them.

Perhaps David Duke really should be a Democrat - he'd certainly feel more at home there.

Great question.. You will notice that free speech is only extended to those who want to 'stay the course' and don't have any reason to question the 655,500 and growing deaths of those brown people in Iraq.

As a Freethinker, I will support David Duke's right to search for the truth.

First of all, if you mean conservatives, you are pretty much 180 degrees incorrect.

We conservatives disdain racist pukes and those that deny the holocaust more than Democrats. Is it we who want to constantly talk to Iran? Hardly.

When it comes to the survival of Israel and safety of it's inhabitants, is it Liberals who are most supportive? Is it Jimmy Carter? No... Conservatives think it's about time to tell the Palestinians they had their chance for peace, it's over. You have Gaza, live there.

As for David Duke, as you know he ran for political office as a Republican but was shunned by most Republicans. Who voted for him? Poor white Democrats.

nuff said.

He can say whatever stupid and ignorant things he likes; as long as he is an American he has the right to say them. None of us have to agree with him, but he does have the right.

His trip to Iran is deplorable; but I can't stand him to begin with. There's free speech, and then there's working with the enemy against your own country (in their country).

I also support the grand wizard of the KKK Democratic senator Robert Byrd's use of the N word. Free speech is free speech.

What is his position on free speech? Also, I don't agree with his trip to Iran. Anyone in cahoots with the enemy is an enemy of our country in my opinion.

He is as bad as Kennedy Sr. was with the Nazi's. He has a right to say what he wants, but he should not have gone to Iran to say it. What thay shows is that he puts the love of himself and his ideology ahead of our nation. I have no room for anyone who does that.
