Visiting friends in Barcelona for New Years again. I would like to see if there are some more Barcelonians who know of cool stuff going on from 31 Dec-2 Jan. Or just maybe want to meet for Cerveza y Tapas

There are a lot of things to do. 31st is a special night, but every single spanish, does take 12 grapes to welcome the new year. It should be fun for a foreigner to do it in the street surrounded by people. You can do it in Plaza Cataluña, the normal place or in Plaza Glories, which this year should be the best place to go as the agbar tower is being used for this event.

There are many different ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve, or Nochevieja which means ‘The Old Night’ in Spain. see http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/new_year.htm
