As far as i know, marriage is a gift from God. Nobody plans for divorce and the changes over time that lead to divorce are the works of satan. May be the couple wasnt meant for each other, being different people, that is why there are so many divorces nowadays. Never be afraid of marriage, just try take the challenge and pray.

Personally, I have to believe that no one does anything, without the best of intentions (to begin with). Only money hungry people (who would get alimony and half the assets) marry with the intention for divorce! But, on a whole, I have to believe in the goodness of man kind, and the we do love. Sometimes love is blind, and we overlook the little things that annoy us. They make us appear to change, or maybe it is the fact that in the beginning, we put on such a front to impress someone that the real us comes out in the end, and that isnt as attractive as what we met and fell in love with. They key to avoid divorce, is reality. Know your limitations, know your dreams, know yourself and know your partner.

I am married and have contemplated divorce many times. I am not happily married. We argue alot and do not talk unless he wants sex. It's not the type of marraige I imagined when I dreamed of what it will be like to be married. I want to travel, he wants to stay home. There are just so many differences. When you are dating, you go along to be nice whether you like it or not, but after so long you quit giving in. Do you stay somewhere that you are not happy or do you try to find your soul mate?I believe there is a special someone out there for everyone, we just don't take the time to find the right one.

No one gets married to get divorced, just like no one opens a new business to see it shut down.People give up faster and rarely take the time to know the person they are to marry. Divorce laws have become lax so the divorce rate skyrockets!!

Many people go into a marriage with the thought that "If it doesn't work out then...". This is a Worldly Vision of marriage, NOT one that is approved by Our FATHER. HE created man from the dust of the earth (Genesis 1)then saw that man needed a mate and created woman from man's rib (Genesis 1) to be "with man". We were not told that they had the right to find others as they 'so choose'. Remember, "What GOD hath joined let no man put asunder"?? If a man and woman begin their marriage by reading and studying the BIBLE and continue to do so they will be ROCK SOLID as they are supposed to. We can change if we choose to but GOD will not and does not. HE is the one that will send Christ back to judge each and every one of us according to what we have done on earth. I hope that this is clear as to how I feel on this matter. It is not how we feel though, It is how GOD wants us to act on earth!! Have a great holiday.

No one gets married with the intention of getting divorced. Well, unless they are a gold-digger, who marries someone strictly for their money, hoping to obtain a big financial settlement.
