Ok my dad collects all the superhero/villan action figures and weapons and I know he has them all he loves presents and expects them what exactly could I get him that he doesn't already own and that he would think is cool and I'm on a budget of $50.

Try a flea market or comic book shop. Even second hand stores can have really cool out of production items. Look for the unusual. Think outside of the box. Does he have adequate storage or displays for his memorablia? Maybe a decorative knife? Is there something you could make for him? You could use old photos, copy them, then make him the hero of his own comic book (and what dad doesn't want to be a hero to his kid?).

Utimately, my best advice is to spend time with him, as much as you can. Just picking up the phone to chat is a wonderful gift a child can give a parent. And you will thank yourself for it later....

Mithril has some really good ideas...you can't go wrong with any of those suggestions.

My kids are in the same boat with their dad. You could look for some stuff that had the superhero logos on them like:

Pajama sets, tee shirt and ball cap set, a wall clock, a watch, a book on the subject, or maybe some movie soundtracks cds.

Good luck!!

Dads always use shaving supplies, lotions, cologne, check his favorites. Nose and ear trimmers. We all have too much hair there, at our age. Matching socks to his suits or shirts.
House slippers, PJs? Fishing? Hunting?
I'd like a few things if you're interested.
