Good question! It really depends on HOW gullible or paranoid a person is. If they're so gullible, they ignore basic safety precautions, esp. around possibly dangerous people, then they're more likely to be victims of assault, etc. That can mess a person up for life, or even get them killed! If they lived in a perfect world, they might be healthier, but sadly they DON'T!

Conversely, the paranoid person will tend to be more watchful and hence, safer from a variety of dangers, but if they let it consume them, to the point of high stress, then THAT could shorten their life! They key is not to obsess about it...just be aware.

I'm inclined toward the REALISTICALLY "paranoid" giving you a longer life...rather than the gullible, but neither extreme is good for you.

paranoia inflicts great stress on the body, which is known to be extremely harmful. so long as the gulible person doesn't think it's ok to jump into dangrous situations, gullibility is healthier and should lead a longer life, than a stressed and paranoind person.

Being a mixture of both affords a more healthy life. It's good to be a little paranoid and also to be a little "naive".

Look up the definitions of both and decide.
