The low-cost airline Wizzair will launch a route from London Luton (LTN) to Bucharest Baneasa (BBU) on 15th Jan 2007.

Otherwise, there are some decent prices on TAROM to Bucharest Otopeni (OTP) and on Austrian via Vienna to Timisoara (TSR).

Several low-cost airlines also operate from Central Europe and Germany to Arad, Tirgu Mures and other regional Romanian airports.

Depends where you are leaving from ... If you are leaving from the UK then flying with a budget airline like easy jet or ryanair who fly to less popular destinations will be your best bed. If your in the US then I suppose flying is your only option. Hope this helps
