Quite simply, the catnip is legal, the marijuana is not (if you are in the US)

Many attempts have been made to hybrid-ize marijuana with many things in attempt to make it legal. No successful projects have yet occurred.

Its legal to grow catnip on its own. But not marijuana. Think of the poor kitty cats, who would be "floating on cloud!" (laugh)

why not grow poppy's for there seeds that way you will have duel income, if you going to get busted might as well make it worth your while?
