About a week ago these roses looked very healthy When they started turning yellow i gave them miracle grow and a weak spray of iron chelate diluted in water

They are either getting too much water or they have the disease, black spot. If it happened in one week I would say its the water because it usually takes longer than a week for black spot to turn the leaves yellow. Water them about once a week or less if nature is helping you out. See if correcting the watering practices results in new green leaves budding. Also, as long as the plants are stressed don't add anything. Fert., iron, fish all act as additional stress to a plant in distress. Start using that stuff again when the plant has bounced back and is regaining its health.

Roses don't like to have their leaves wet, always best to water from the base of plant. There is a miracle grow for roses and about every 4 weeks, water it with some fish emulsion mixed into the water. Also, how big are the roses now and what size pot do you have them in or are they planted in the ground. If they're outside and weather's getting cold, this is natural. Good luck on your roses.
