No, I don't. Luckily, I learned that lesson. In the workplace and in life, admitting that you've made a mistake quickly lowers the intensity of situation. For example, I do timekeeping. When someone's check is wrong it's much better for me to say how sorry I am, that I made a mistake, and that I'll look into it.

No one likes to admit they made a mistake. But if you find yourself in a position where you made a mistake that affects others, just immediately take credit for the mistake and move towards fixing it. When you do this it deflates the criticism almost immediately and removes the opposition to your mistake. It also takes a lot less energy to simply admit to it and move forward. To deny the mistake and try to defend an erroneous position takes an incredible amount of time and energy and in the end yields nothing.
This is why George Bush is having such a hard time with Iraq. For the past year at least he has steadfastly REFUSED to admit he made a mistake, and on the contrary has continued to insist he was right and everything was great. Only recently has he been forced by events to admit that things are bad, very bad. Once the admission is made of a mistake, then steps can be taken to fix it. Until then it is a statemate and all efforts are expended in defending the mistaken position, and this ultimately accomplishes not a thing.

Yes, I definitely have this problem. I guess I just don't want to admit my mistakes and/or weaknesses. You are right, it does take a bigger person to hold their hands up and admit it, unfortunately I have not yet become that person....but I am working on it.

Mostly no. Sometimes I know that I am wrong and can't admit just because I can't let the other person know that. I t depends on circumstances.Sometimes I just want to be stubborn just because the other one is so.

I don't have a problem admitting when I'm wrong. I know I'm not perfect and admit my mistakes. But how do you know that someone else is wrong? I've been wrong many times, and never have a problem admitting it.

Refusing is the easiest way out of it at first so maybe someone who is accusing something on you will back down once they hear you denounce whatever their accusing you of. I don't know, I usually deny everything, and denial is a habit hehe.

No i dont have trouble admitting im wrong. Most people who think they are this or that.. are kind of stupid...and will probably never admit their wrong.
You either KNOW it or dont KNOW it... thinking is BS and can be changed instantly... why do they? because they are ignorant..
thinking is just random..
but knowing is having proof of what you think...
with proof your, in theory, not wrong...

answer is simple.
Do you ever notice that when you're driving, anyone going slower than you is an idiot and everyone driving faster than you is a maniac?
same is the case while admitting .

When I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I admit it. To me, it is no big deal. Sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong. It happens.

It depends on who I'm admitting to.... to my husband, I'll admit it, cuz I know he'll still love me and all that... but other people, I don't like to show "weakness" to. It's dumb though because it's not really a sign of weakness to admit you messed up. I guess I worry their opinion of me will change... I dunno.... lol
