THE NBA IS A BUSINESS, THEY ARE TRYING TO PROTECT THEIR PLAYERS.

Just like in the NFL, the officials are more concerned about players not getting hurt than the flow of the game. They are taking the fun out of sports by constantly calling stupid touch fouls and such. It needs to be like the old days when you payed a price for driving to the hoop. You had to be good to dominate in the paint. No, my grandmother could drive to the hoop and not get touched.

plain and simple, they are protecting the players. Look at it this way, would you rather have these ticky tacky fouls, or have one of your favorite nba players going down with a season ending injury, because another player was using unfair tactics.
