If stove has knobs facing up,bet you banged it with a pot.
The valve body is usually tapered & can be jammed if it gets pushed down.
If you want to DIY, turn off gas supply & if you can access the valves, you should see a small plate that the valve stem passes through with a couple of screws holding it down.
Loosen the screws a little & pull up on the valve stem.
Put knob on & twist.
If the valve turns easily, that should do it.
Tighten screws & try it out.
Smell gas?, shut down & call pro

apply penetrating oil then tap with a hammer, let it sit for a bit, tap some more, then try again.

By using some light oil on the connection. Trying turning it the opposite way a little first, then the other................
