If you have a hundred dollars to spend on him then you definitly can afford to get him something, even a couple things. That's all my husband and I spend on eachother as a rule and it works out well. Now if you need that hundred for rent or something, then obviously you can't spend it on gifts. For a hundred dollars there are mp3 player, computer or video games, ummmm all kinds of sports stuff out there, it just depends on what he's into and shopping around. Good luck, and I hope you feel better.

sure, Shirley, you're. even with the undeniable fact that, note that this can activate you; Junior ought to settle on to apply the money he in the different case would have spent on Christmas supplies you for different issues. youthful ones ought to nicely be very sensible in that way (I communicate from journey, having been a teen, once). do not be stunned if faster or later a particle accelerator arrives contained in the mail, addressed to Junior. note that if he has spending ability, he ought to per chance use it. All you may do is shrug, resignedly, and say "nicely a minimum of he received't be whining about no longer getting what he needed". Parenting, it truly is complicated pastime.

Get him a scrapbook, and fill it with favorite memories together. Or a get a journal, and write some of your memories from when he was a baby and/or a child. Maybe take your old 8mm movies or videos and have them put on a DVD for him.
I once bought a collage frame and placed a bunch of old family photos in each of the spaces. In the middle space, I printed a nice note, but you can also use a meaningful poem.

I'm sure he understands your going thru a hard time right now. I think you should still try to get him something even if its not alot. I would go to Borders and find an inspirational book. I think you could even just go with a nice picture frame with a picture of happier times in it.

He already understands.
Enjoy each other's company! If you MUST get him something, get him a Gift Card from Borders, Home Depot, whatever he likes...It doesn't have to be $100. Get him a $40 Gift Card, he'll love it...you're his mom!
It's X-mas!
