No race in particular is superior to another. It's just that the whites had more opportunity and made better use of what they had, and stole what they didn't have. Given the opportunity, the whites could have been the slaves. The whites had opportunity because they were more technologically advanced thanks to centuries of warfare where constant advances had to be made in order to survive. They also borrowed knowledge from elsewhere (e.g the Arabs) to do this. This combination of survival,, and also thanks to the physical location of Europe having connections to the Arab world and Asia means the whites could take full advantage to develop, and also explore beyond their own territories. If it wasn't for this , whites would still be living in timber huts in the forests of europe wearing bearskins hunting wild boar. Given the opportunity, dark-skinned races could have done the same thing as whites did.

Some do. It is a complicated matter. Because of the way most people have been brought up to think and study, collectively, people in the West tend to think only about Western figures and ideals as the relevant ones. But most are open-minded enough to challenge that.

No, it makes them oppressor. slavery was forced upon African and controlling them by torture, rape, and death is the ultimate to control an entire race, and even when slaves escaped it was not like they could go back to Africa on a boat, they ran to other parts of the United States and Canada
