If you dont concentrate on your breathing you will tend to hold your breath which will make you pass out. Your muscles also need a sufficient amount of oxygen to work.

Muscles that are craving oxygen will tense up faster, and damage easier.

Deep regular breathing gives you extra muscle control for longer times, and you won't feel tight and sore the next day.

deep and proper breathing enables you last longer cos oxygen goes to all the muscles much quicker and lactic acid does not build up too quickly to cos fainting
