I'm a male and my date's Dress is solid black. I'm thinking in wearing black dress pants and a Black and Red Pinstripes on White lend Dress shirt... Would that be ok? Any sugestions?

If I read this right, your shirt is white with black and red pinstripes. You might want to add a red tie to bring out the red, and add more color to your look.
If your shirt is solid white, and your tie is black with red pinstripes, then the outfit sounds great.

try wearing a grey silver type shirt with the black pants instead to lower your tone. If you don't own one get a classic one like from Banana Republic.
