The white European slaves in North Africa had a dreadful life, especially if they were used as forced labour in stone quarries. The first foreign war undertaken by the USA was against the pirate state of Tunis to force them to stop taking ships and slaves in the Atlantic. Many military expeditions were launched from Europe to end the practice, but none were really successful until the French captured and occupied Algiers.
The Ottoman Empire had many slaves from Eastern Europe - their main military force was made up of captured Christian children forcibly converted to the practice of Islam and trained a shock troops. In Ottoman harems white Circassian sex-slaves, mainly from the Caucasus Mountains, were highly prized as they were usually blond and blue-eyed. Believe me - Black people had no monopoly of the misery of slavery.

Well, now you will, anyone who has had such an issue with slavery as the Afro-Americans should be studying the issue and organizing bans, boycotts and marches. Lets' start with the number two (2) area that being Chocolate, you should ensure that your family, friends and school boycott Chocolate that means candy, ice cream and hot chocolate, etc. The big companies have the power to make sure the Egyptians and others quit using slaves to gather the Coca Beans.

The number one (1) area is the sex trade, videos, prostitution and children. You cannot do much there but you could ensure the issue becomes publicized.

Number three (3) is Coffee and you should do the same thing as you should do with chocolate.

Number four (4) is drugs and it is even worse with this area (I believe they should be legalized; it worked in the Netherlands and would be a God sent to the Country) is that the profits are used to kill us.

Egyptians had Jewish slaves.

Romans as the conquered Europe brought home slaves. European tribes also enslaved each other. Feudalism was a form of slavery and Europe practiced that for a 1000 years. Even during the 13 colonies and the early part of the US there were indentured servants, no better than slaves. Also during the crusades thousands of whites were enslaved by the Arabs and the black mores. So the blacks are really new comers to slavery. Whites have done it must longer. Also blacks were and still are big in slave trading.

I read a book all about the history of the Atlantic slave trade. Apparently the custom throughout much of world history was that a conquering people would take the conquered people and make them slaves. So the answer is "yes".

Yes, there were actually white slaves here in the US at the same time there were black slaves. This practice died out as the Africans were brought to America, but there were whites from England who would sell their freedom for X amount of time in order to come to America and establish themselves here.
