No. Once you get used to using something it can be hard to switch. In fact if you don't have a good reason to I don't recommend it as it will take time to learn the ins and outs of a new OS such as Linux (unless of course you DO want to learn!).

I've totally switched over to Ubuntu Linux and I can tell you it was strange at first. But then I got used to it, and now I like it. But it did take a while!

For most there is no reason to do so. Does windows do everything that you want a computer to do? Is there something that Linux does that windows can't? I have been using windows since the 3.0 days and am happy with it.

A Real Man (tm) would've gotten a Mac by now, instead of sniveling about being in the thrall of Microshaft Windblows.

I think it's just that Windows hass been around for so long that anyone using anything other than windows is pretty much unheard of.

try knoppix linux its an os thats run from your dvd that way you dont install annother os until you learn it
