hmm.....I think u should go lie down, shadow. lol.
Inanimate objects yell, erh, speak to me everyday. My car says "clean me you lazy guy, I feel so yucky, please bathe me! The other cars are laughing at me!"
The chair I'm sitting on is telling me "whoa, you need to get back to exercising dude, you're hurting me here..." Smart-*** chair!
My books (like you mentioned) chastise me for not reading them. They sit there looking so sad and they say "Right here in these pages are ideas n stories that will keep you engrossed for hours...pick us up, enter our world."
This could be a problem: I can see as I'm trying to read I hear the chair yelling from the other room "put those books down and exercise!" The books are saying "stay!" and outside my car is wailing "wash me!" Oy!
Thanks, shadow, look what you started! Before this question they didn't know that i could hear them. Now that the cat is out of the bag, they're all going to be throwing their two cents in!
Every object tells me something....it only takes the right kind of ears to hear it & the right kind of question to think of it like this! Great question, shadow:))

yeah. especially while playing chess.
"move the bishop, can't you see that knight will take me over"
"no that knights disposable, i am not, don't you dare move me"
and so on. the number of times i have lost the game because of this!
