I just heard on the BBC news that the last car journey of Lady Diana was "the most famous final car journey".

OK

So how famous was President Kennedy's final car journey then?

And how about the final car journey of Archduke Franz Ferdinand (triggering the First World War)?

Your perfectly correct, but remember this is the BBC, and to them - this IS the most famous.
I would find their web site and email them my opinion letting them know others watch, think, and listen to what is being said by them. They will then realize they have to consider the world when they make these comments in todays media.

There should not be any comparisition between Lady Diana,President Kennedy & Archduke Franz Ferdinand .

All three were totally different with respect to their living style , their work or their field.

Last car journey of Lady Diana was "the most famous final car journey", But its a tragic one.As per the media and blood samples of the driver that ride the car through the PAris Tunnel ,accident took place due to the drunken condition of driver which was more than legal limit.
Otherwise Lady Diana could have in front of our eyes rather in heart.

I'd say President Kennedy over Lady Di. Millions watched it happen on LIVE TV for crying sakes!

Not that one is more important than the other.

You forgot Thelma and Louise, that was darn memorable too!

I didn't hear that on USA stations, perhaps they said "the" famous final car journey.

Well, you know what they say.

Q -"Why was Diana killed in a Mercedes?"

A - "Because she wouldn't be seen dead in a Skoda"

GR to old Princess Clotheshorse.

GR = God Rest or Good Riddance, you decide
