I shave mine because otherwise every time he comes in after a fishing expedition in the nearby brook he shakes himself dry and soaks the whole of the kitchen. Being clean shaven he's so much easier to dry off.

Have you noticed how everyone is getting more plastic-looking? Guys wax, girls look like pre-adolescents...For me, it's a basic social discomfort with messiness of all kinds. It's squeamish. That said, I have cheerfully tried a landing strip in an effort to persuade men that giving head to women is not a gross chore. It kind of worked, so I suppose I'll be a hypocrite from now on and maintain it. But not shaving: do you have any idea how unpleasant stubble is in delicate areas?

It's a courtesy. Despite the risk of frost damage to their beavers, shaving them prevents beaver-eaters from getting hairs stuck in their teeth.

To appeal more to us the opposite sex - lets face it no one likes a fanny that looks like Epping Forrest and when your going down on a ***** you don't want a mouthful of pubes. its a fashion thing but who knows a big bush might just come back into fashion in a few years - lets hope not!

For hygienic purposes mostly. Some cultures also abhor the idea of anyone having body hair.

i have no idea why that started but i find it repulsive. it looks like a prepubescent girl and that is gross. i am not into kids. you are suposed to have hair there. to those who say it looks nice. well you are into little girls then??
