Bush should:
1. Ignore Jimmy Carteresque pleas to "Talk to the enemy" meaning Iran and Syria. Simply put forth new, harsh possibilities to any future attempts to wreck the Iraqi goal of a unified Democratic nation.
2. Arrest Mutada Al Sadr, capture, kill and disband his mahdi Army. Peace cannot occur as long as this guy runs free.
3. Disband all militias. Systematically disarm all Iraqis save the military for now. Have the Iraqi military do this via searches of all homes/ buildings in Iraq.
4. Enforce a strict curfew; Anyone who ignores the curfew will be shot on sight.
5. Ramp up pressure on the real enemies: Iran and Syria. Make public statements regarding the New Naziism of Iran. Push for free elections in Iran and Syria. Fund insurgencies to make this happen in THEIR countries.
