Hi, i agree with you like you say if we dont have alot money we have to buy the crappy ones, which are uncomfortable and dont do the job properly. And the decent ones are quite expensive, I bet there is no woman out there who has a regular period that doesnt use more that 2 packs of tampon or towels a week and it comes to alot of money in the long run. So i think we should get them free or at least money off.
As for the Unemployed to get them free i think it is a good idea not all unemployed people are unemployed because they cant be arsed working or for other reasons. Somepeople cant work, and yes unemployed women should get them free because its hard to live of the money they get and having to payout on money they dont have.

I can't help looking at women (it's biological, of course) and I spend a fair amount of time and money on this. I think 'they' (black suits, sunglasses; you know who..) should give me them for free, then I wouldn't have to put up with the crappy ones that I can afford...

Yes absolutely - they should be free on the NHS, or maybe men should have to pay for them - only fair cos we have to suffer the pain etc. it's the least they could do. But then again food's essential too and we don't get that free! :) xx

Did you know that you pay VAT on sanitary items for girls because the government considers them luxury items.

Have a good day

I have always wondered why they advertise tampons on TV etc. it is not like we don't know that we need them. They all serve the same purpose. Quite embarressing when you see your little brother running along with a loop on each ear using the tampon as a face-mask .:))

you are right, we should get it all free as it is not our fault we have them. anything for womens problems like pads, tampons, hrt should all come free of charge as its not fair to people who need them but are maybe a bit short of money.

Definately. Its expensive! Mind you, who would pay for it - the government? We would only end up paying more in taxes to cover it, so we're probably better off getting them ourselves!
