My family and I are thinking of going to Orlando in 1st week of January. We wanted to know whether its a good time to go. Are the parks still busy at that time? (I don't know when the schools go back in the US. ) Thanks

Early January is a fantastic time to come to Orlando. It is a down time in the parks, and the weather is cool and not so humid. My family always hits all the parks the first couple of weeks of the year because of the lesser crowds.

Have a great vacation!

January in Orlando is great!! The weather is much cooler and the parks are not as crowded!! It is much more enjoyable!!
I think the cooler months are the better months to go to Animal Kingdom. The animals seem to always be out and much more active than in the summer.

Even though it is a holiday, the parks will still not be as crowded in January! Have Fun!

The 1st week of Jan. is still busy because many kids don't go back to school until Jan. 8. Also, there is a big Disney World Marathon Jan. 7th so many people come for that. Infact, we are coming Jan. 5-13!!!
