Yes, I like the way it sounds when I sing in the bath tub and driving down the road! Otherwise, not so much.

Hi! I thought my voice sounded good until I visited a speech therapist and listened to myself talk on tape. I realized that the suggestions this professional made to me would make my voice sound better, but it took some time and will power to get used to my "new" voice.

No I sound like I have a big thick tongue and I drool a lot. It is the most awful voice. However, my singing voice is different. I can sing in harmonies and it sounds awesome. Just my talking voice I don't like.

Yes, I like the sound of my voice. As long as I can scream aloud, drink plenty of Celestial Seasoning's Lemon Zinger Tea, get plenty of rest, and can't carry a single tune, I appreciate the sound of my voice just fine.

NO. I sound like a 9 year old hillbilly! Everyone else thinks I have a pretty voice though. I think they are crazy!

I do. I'm lead vocals in the band "That's not the name of the band!" and I just love belting out blues tunes in my gravelly amplified basso voice! I love it, I really do! Last time we jammed we wrote two new tunes and since I've been in Jersey I've scored the music for a new song as well, I just need to get the lyrics down. Cool question, thanks for asking!

When I hear myself talking I think I have a lovely voice but when I hear a recording of it - I can't even recognise it as mine. I wonder, which of the two do other people hear?

Well, I got this grating really high pitched East Coast/ wisconsin thing going on so the only pleasure I get out of it is seeing other folks flinch when I speak.

When I'm talking I don't mind it... but then if I hear my own message on the answering machine, or something, I'm like, "Oh, my God, I sound like such a little girl!" lol And then I don't care for it.
