There are 2 ways to reset the oil light,1 turn key to on, do not start press and release gas peddle 3 times within 10 seconds all the way to the floor make sure floor mat is out of the way you should hear a chime or 2 with key on open drivers door and remove cover on side of dash there is a red button that says reset press and release oil light should flash, after light flashes press and hold reset button until you here a chime also if your car has a tire monitoring system you can reset with the red button also, to do this press and release button until tire light comes on and flashes then press and hold button until you hear a chime.

Easy! Turn on the key don't start the car just to the on posistion. Depress and release the throttle three times in five seconds all the way down and back up. Oil change light will blink and go out...

There are codes built into your radio. Get out your Owners manual and it should walk you through it! You have to turn the key position to the ON position then punch buttons on the radio in sequence that tells your car computer to turn off the light.

take it to your local dealership. they can turn it off. I believe they are the only one that can becasue when I was a salesman I saw them always hooking a electronic note pad to somewhere in the fuse box adn diagnosing the problem. it waas usually just some sensor that had malfunctioned. If might be somethig worse though or some recall which would be fixed for free.

you should take it to the dealer to have it hooked up to the computer. If you disconnect the battery, that should reset the light.
