Comment on the Sky News website, by viewers, sums it up for me.
“I don't doubt that Lord Stevens believes what he has concluded.
However, does anyone really think that the "Establishment" or Secret Service would tell him everything if there has, indeed, been a conspiracy?
The controversy will go on, probably forever.
Nothing I've heard today changes my belief that Diana was murdered”
“Of course it was murder....do you honestly think that the establishment would let the future King of England's mother be involved with a muslim? She was a thorn in their side. Though if you look back at the footage surrounding her death Prince Charles did look absolutely devastated by her death...he should never have married her in the first place....I do have a certain amount of sympathy for him, I feel he was pushed into providing and heir. And anyway all the time Diana was saying there are 3 of us in this marriage she was laughed at.....but the truth has come out now as Charles and Camilla are together at last.”
If anyone truly believes they will get a full and honest version of events via these investigations, please think again at the power our royal family and government have.
Do you really think that anyone from any of the investigations will step up and say yeah it was a conspiracy, yeah the royal family or MI6 have something to do with this?

Asstated by 'dumplingmuffin' "bending down and tying his shoes up minutes before they drove off, and he would have never been able to have balanced like he did had he been drunk" proves that the driver was not drunk. The French are known to drink wine like water.

A survey by Sky News has shown that 90% of the viewers believe it was murder.
The Government has only proved that it was murder through this 'whitewash'.

I dont think it matters who they get to investigate this nonsense, the country will never change their opinion on any of the royals, they are untouchable as we have found out, laws are made are re-shuffled to suit them, charles could not marry in a catholic church, perfect example !!! : ((

I don't know if it was murder or accident. But I do find it hard to believe the royals would kill her under this kind of circumstance as it has caused a great controversy that will go on forever. I doubt they wanted this kind of publicity to go on and on. Which it will forever be a thorn in the royals side that they are looked at as possible murderers of the Princess.
This guy driving was drunk. Could it be that it was because he was DRUNK that the car wreck happened? And where was were their brains? Why would not have a seat belt on when someone was driving so crazy? Also, why wouldn't you want the guy to just stop and let them take pictures? Why risk your life over a few lousy pictures?
There are way too many questions in this case to just think it of this as murder.

On the morning of August 31, 1997, following a visit to the Ritz in Paris, Diana and Fayed were involved in a horrifying car accident. The driver, Henri Paul, and Fayed were killed instantly but Diana remained alive
Diana helped with the Red Cross.
until after the doctors arrived at the scene. The doctors' work could not save her; she was pronounced dead just a few hours later of cardiac arrest. She was only 36 years old. Despite his horrible injuries, Trevor Rees-Jones, a bodyguard, survived. After hearing of her death, the world went into mourning and disbelief. It was later determined that Paul, the driver was drunk and on prescription drugs at the time and the Princess and Fayed would have survived had they been wearing seatbelts. Still, to this day people still mourn the death of this incredible woman. As Elton John said in his tribute song to her, "Your candle's burned out long before your legend ever will."
Many people put flowers in front of Buckingham Palace for Diana.

For the love of God people, give it a rest!
It was an accident, its been investigated independently twice and the same conclusion has been found. Even the French, who would have nothing to gain from covering up for the British government said the same thing. There's 1500 witness accounts, all pointing in the same direction and DNA accounts verifying that the driver was twice the UK drink drive limit! (which is still easily sober enough to tie his shoe laces!! (what the F*ck was that about?).
Besides if you were going to knock someone off doing it with a car crash (not the most reliable way to kill someone) which is being followed by the worlds media isn't exactly the smartest way!
Most of you want to believe there was a murder and none of you have sat down a thought just how difficult it would be to pull off murdering the most famous woman on the planet and covering it up!
Let it drop, she was never worth the hype when she was alive! if people actually judged her on what she did with her life then she should have been long since forgotten. She was patron to a few charities?!! She was a member of the royal family, that's what they do! All of them! its their job!!

It was an accident. Theres nothing more to it. Why would the Royal Family be bothered if Diana was going to marry a Muslim?! She had already been quite publicly removed fromt he Royal family anyway! She had very little to do with them! Besides, as the report uncovered, there is no evidence what so ever that she and Dodi were going to marry anyway and she wasn't pregnant. Even if she was pregnant, its not like the child would be part of the Royal family! So seriously, why on earth would they kill her off?! They would literally have to be out of their minds. Its just doesn't make sense. Conspiracy theories are just there to entertain people with boring lives who have nothing else to think about!! I just hope there write a report on how the US Government didn't blow up the twin towers to shut the freaks on you tube up!!!

I believe Orange. It grew to become into homicide. they are going to save on asserting it grew to become into an accident (and not homicide, no count how plenty evidence they produce) with the intention to not make Prince Charles look worse than he already does.

NOT WEARING A SEATBELT IS SUICIDE ... 30 years ago I survived a 120mph head-on crash in a Cortina cos I DID wear mine. My car looked just like their car after the accident. Bear in mind they were only doing 60mph and in a modern Mercedes, 100x stronger than an old Cortina.

We should not speculate. There is no reason why we should not believe the investigation report. It is an accident as there is no evidence to the contrary.
We should recall her services to the world community. She will always be remembered for her contribution.
