Oh yes! I was in college and I met this guy in my lecture theatre every Tuesdays and Fridays. We'd exchange glances and things never developed further, partly because I already had a boyfriend. 8 years later, I broke up with my boyfriend (not the college one) and walked in a daze and passed an apartment block. Then I stood there and started crying. Another three years passed and I finally met my present boyfriend who's the love of my life. He...happens to be the very same guy I met in the lecture theatre all those years ago! And he's staying in the exact apartment where I walked pass three years ago! Speaking of dejavu!
Sometimes my boyfriend and I tease each other, 'Where have you been all my life?!' The other will reply, 'I've been around. You weren't looking.'

Well, people 'move on' everyday, but it sounds like he was shy, and so he liked talking to you THEN, but as soon as he made "new friends" he kinda ignored you. That's weird, and you're better off not knowing him.

yep. sometimes its fun just to have someone to talk to who you don't have to worry about offending or grossing out or freaking out because if any of that does happen, there's no emotional attachment so u can just say "oh well" and leave it at that.
