What do "PDA" and "MDA" stand for (in relation to mobile phones/pocket PC)?

PDA is Personal Digital Assistant... it is a hand held personal organizer. It keeps schedules and other information that is used daily. I'm not sure what MDA stands for... let me know if you find out

The MDA is a phone offered thru T-Mobile. It has similar functions to a blackberry or sidekick.
