March 17, 1998. Fell asleep driving, broke my neck and watched my world turn inside out. It took over a year and lot of pain to recover, but opened my eyes to so much.

Dating an abusive loser in college. Breaking up with that SOB gave me the confidence to never-ever put up with crap again. I am so much stronger because of it. I came to the realization that nobody - especially ME deserved to be treated the way that jerk treated me.

Not moving to another state with my mom. I didnt realize how bad of an influence she was until I saw it from my point of view with her not in it

Knowing even though I'm not perfect and I make my share of mistakes(even big ones) that I still have good friends who know me and care. Also knowing that I'm still a good person and deserve good things even though I make mistakes.
