If it is a girl, Shannon. I have a girl Shannon, and her personality and intellect is great. I am a great believer in names affecting a person's personality. eg. boys called Timothy are timid, whilst boys called Brett, are full on and potentially trouble. I think it has something to do wtih the sound of the name more than anything else. My mums rule for naming her kids was that they would end in, or could be shortened to an "ee" sound...which makes it easier for calling their names out loud eg. Ashley, Jamie, Gavin (Gavvee), and so on. Last thing: please avoid hard to spell names....or your kids will forever have to s-p-e-l-l it out!!

Rónán Pádraig and Róisín Áine. Rónán and Róisín are two of my favorite Irish names. Boys: In order of Preference- Rónán Pádraig (Row-nan Paw-drig): Love it. Fionn Eoin (Fin Owen): Would prefer the names switched. Eoin Fionn flows better imo. Óisín Dáire (Osh-een Da-ra): It's cute. Séamus Lorcán (Shay-mus Lor-kan) Girls: Order of Preference- Róisín Áine (Rosh-een An-ya): love. Aoibhín Isibéal (Eve-een Isabel) Aisling Ciara (Ash-ling Kee-ra): not a fan of Aisling, but I love Ciara. Caoimhe Sadhbh (Kee-va Sive)

I named my first son Kyle Evan..Kyle means a piece of land near a tributary, and Evan means fair haired. Although, I did not pick his name based on meaning, as much as the flow of the name.
My middle is Julian Micheal (yes spelled just like that). We call him Jules for short, but he is often called Julian. He was named after my husband's grandfather. Incidentally, we didn't know it until years later, but his birthday is the same as his great grandfather's wedding anniversary to his great grandmother!
My third is Andrew David...I just picked a name...It flowed.
