two years ago i was walking down a residential street and this hero came storming down at about 50mph in his car. Kids everywhere. He stopped further down and I expressed my displeasure to him . We discussed the matter at great length up and down the street, in gardens and at one point in a guys garage and I would like to say I gave him a good hiding but If Im honest the best i could claim was a draw.
isn't it just great the adrenaline rush, the roaring, the flailing fists
- sorry just got a bit moist thinking about it.
Damn good question !

A couple of months ago -- a lady on the phone of all places.
She called my house, when I said "hello" - she said "who's this?".
Well - I hate that! Talk about rude. I said you called me, why don't you tell me who you are. She then proceeded to tell me that I was rude and had bad phone manners, how dare I ask a question with a question. HUH?! I told her to stop yelling at me - she was the one with poor phone manners - that the proper way to call someone was to say "Hello, may I speak to *insert name here*"..... She then told me she was trying to reach her granddaughter, blah, blah, and sometimes they didn't answer the phone right -- I told her that the granddaughter must have learned her manners from her.
I still can't believe I wasted my time arguing with an old lady on the phone like that. She just tapped on one of my pet peeves.
**** OH -- I didn't see your addition about fist-fight. ---- probably 20 years ago -- slapped a guy in a bar for calling me princess when I wouldn't give him the time of day.

A few years ago I got into a shouting match with a woman who had a huge basket of shopping at the 9 items or less queue at Tesco's.
I had just flown home from Cuba and then driven straight to the supermarket, so I was a bit frazzled.
I took one look at her shopping basket and went off on one.
Not one of my prouder moments!

Verbal fight.
I was in Tesco & this silly cow had a toddler who, as I was bending down picking up a can of spaghetti, pulled town my top and went 'Oooooh boobies!'
(Yes, I am a girl)
I said to the kid, 'That's a rude thing to say!'
The mother stomps over and says, 'Don't you DARE talk to my child like that!'
I said, 'Well don't let your child pull my top down then!'
She rolled her eyes, said 'Fat bint' and waltzed off with the brat.
.
(Sorry, have had no fist fights, but this verbal one was bad enough!)
