I am really concerned if earth will end up the Mars way.

All along my canal the water go into the earth to be filtered or purified.It also recharge the water reserves and restore climat because of the dryness created by human activities.

The ingredients for water are hydrogen and oxygen. H2O. As long as those two gases are present and as long as the environment necessary for them to be joined is present. Water will never run out. New water is being made all the time. The question is really a good question. The real question is how long before the present water supply is rendered non-ingestible due to contamination?

In about 5 billion years when the sun turns into a Red Giant.

Mars doesn't have much of an atmosphere, and that's why it has no surface water. Keep in mind there still may be water below the surface of mars. They just recently think they saw a spring pop up in a crater.

I think it's just the opposite. Earth gets hit with water from outer space all the time. If anything, the level of water on earth is increasing.

From the way it's looking, it won't be any time soon before water runs out. With all of this global warming, it's just making more water that will eventually overrun florida and any other small peninsula that doesn't have the land capacity to stand above it.

Water is a nonrenewable resouce but we have had the same amount for however long the earth is.
