It sounds like you have food poisoning and so the answer to your question is yes you can get it from lamb.

You probably got the trots so dehydration will be making you feel worse.

Whatever you do, do not take anything to stop you from going like loperamide as this will just hold the bacterial infection inside your body, let nature run its course.

In the mean time to counteract the dehydration buy some drinking salts from your local chemist, this will make you feel a little better and ensure you have enough water in your system.

And last but not least give it time, probably a day or so should do it.

If it's food poisoning, don't eat, just sip some water. Hopfully after 24 hours of no food you will feel better. If not, or you start to feel worse, see the doctor.

After fasting for 24 hours, don't have a big meal, ease back into eating with something like soup, and see how your stomach reacts. Take it slowly with the food over the next 24 hrs.

Any meat not properly cokked has the potential to contain bugs that were not killed off. The other way of getting food poisoning is to leave something open for too long - which is something my partner does with his pickle every few years...

Good luck.

You can get food poisoning from any food. If you don't stop vomiting after 24 hours and your symptoms get worse then I suggest a doctors advice should be sought. If you live in Britain phone up NHSdirect and speak to a nurse. They are very good.
My suggestion is don't eat anything for 24 hours, sip water and get loads of bed rest. Sorry to hear you are feeling so unwell but it will pass.

Hi you can get food poisoning from anything that is uncooked or off. So you may have food poisoning as it does tend to come on quickly. I would either go to the doctors or to the hospital and tell them everything what you ate as food poisoning is serious. Even if its a tummy bug at least you will know.

Yes - especially off a Donner Kebab - they stick loads of mint in with the Salad & Sauce to hid the fact that the meat has been re-heated.. You can get poisoned from any food that has not been cooked/stored/prepared properly.. Get well soon..

You can get food poisoning from anything...But if it is true food poisoning it is an immediate illness...not eventual illness..you'll probably feel better on your on. Just treat it like the stomach flu. And I have always found Pepto Bismol to work best in these situation

You can get food poisoning from any food that hasn't been properly cooked or treated.
I don't know if you should go to the doctors. Do your symptoms look like the 'flu? If so, take fluids and get plenty of rest today.

all good answers above.
yea it sounds like something wasn''t right. weather it be the lamb or the mint.
If you have medical insurance, i would go to the doc's just to make sure. isn't it better to be safe than sorry?
If you don't have medical, then wait until later today, if you are not better, you still better seek medical attention.

The coca-cola thing is what my mum always told us to do, make sure it is 'flat', you know ,no bubbles.

Good luck mate, hope you feel better soon.
