If you're 18, you should not go after anyone below 18

Yes. You'll wind up in jail. Someone has to be with in 2 years of her age to not be considered a pedophile. So any boyfriend she has must be below 14. On the flip side, her boyfriend must be above 10 - or she might be potentially be considered the predator.

Legally, you have no business being around any girl younger than 16. If you are messing with girls below that age I hope that you are caught and put in prison.

You should not be going for a 12 year old. Go get your self some help.

It is very wrong to even consider seeing a 12 year old. A 12 yr. old is very much a child and you could actually be charged with statutory rape should there be any hanky panky. Trust me is jail time worth it? Another thing......why would you even consider a 12 year old. That is pretty icky if you ask me. Let some time roll by like say at least 6 years and then think about it. Im sure you will realize how crazy the idea was.

yes. At 12, you are still a child. A 12 year old and an 18 year old are on very different maturity levels, as they should be. I think 12 year olds should be spending time exploring life and figuring out who they are with other pre-teens, not someone who is 18, and already lived through the horrors of high shcool.

Nowadays, our society protects children. A 12 year old should still be enjoying their time as a child and not be exposed to the adult world of dating. This would be over the line by probaby 98% of most people in our society today.

So take a cold shower, and find someone closer to your own age. And besides, it is called "Statutory Rape" if caught, which means you go to jail, where you belong.

My cousin was very precocious at 12 and dated an18 year old. They went out for a while, then broke up. She met him again when she was 20 or so and they got married. They had 2 kids, then divorced.

She's a cracker, that one. I never thought it was wrong, but she raised a few eyebrows, that girl. (More than once)

edit: dating does not mean having sex. They never did anything like that. I'd say it was inappropriate though.

I would hope common sense would tell you that the 12 year old is jail bait and being the parent of the 12 year old, I would hunt you down and cut off the small head you are thinking with. Figuratively speaking that is.

A 12 cannot give consent. There is no "courting" going on here, its called pedophilia, no matter what gender you are.

Yes. That's called being a sexual predator. It is VERY illegal to have any sort of contact even coming close to a sexual nature with anyone under the legal age of consent.

To a certain extent age is just a number. I am 11 years older than my wife. Just be very careful here, you could very well end up in jail over this. You will forever be listed as a sex offender even if it is concentual sex. Make sure her parents are ok with this relationship and stay on good terms with them and be careful not to let anyone by you or her know what goes on between you. But if it goes sour this girl could ruin your life. Comprenday?
