I need something like hilaryd.org, jolinworld.com, and the most important thing is, it has to be free. I need a short URL. So could someone explain about setting something like that?

well I don't know, but in myspace you can do that and it's free! So I don't know! i think it's http://groups.myspace.com

Hello. This is a two part answer to your two part need. Basically you need a site that you can set up for free as a fan site and you need the url to be short. First as a fan site, you will want it to be regularly updated to keep fresh on latest news, developments, contests, giveaways, newsletters, etc. You also want it to be free. I suggest going to blogger.com and setting up a site with their templates that you can have hosted free and it will take less than five minutes. Also, you will be able to update it much easier than a standard site.
Now, to shorten the url, try going to webalias.com, tinyurl, urlsnip, or entering in webalias.com to the search engines pulls up results for many of these url shortening services. There is even one that does this for free of charge when you use the google engine.
I have done this myself and have had good success.
