No it is Rape why would an animal want some foreign species like a human violate .....What I think is that Any Human capable of something so savage should be shot on the spot.......Just imagine how traumatized the poor innocent animal is...

A death sentence for bestiality when people who film themselves raping and sodomizing a 5 year old child go to prison?

Is it creepy and disgusting? Yes. But animals are NOT people and a penalty for animal abuse should not be greater than for child abuse.

What do you think of how horses or dogs are bred? A female in season is handed over to a male (that a HUMAN chooses) and he mates with her. She doesn't get to choose the stud---she may never even have met him. PLUS the stud's owner gets paid for his services.

Calm down. Sure, it's disgusting, but there are things that are a lot worse than that, such as rape of a woman or child; and we don't execute people for that. It would be a strange sense of priorities to execute a person who has sex with an animal, but only send to jail a person who rapes a person. Bestiality is a crime, so the person caught doing it can be punished. Isn't that enough?

It's not quite that bad, an animal doesn't have the same sense of sexual shame we have. If it doesn't physically hurt the animal, the animal isn't going to be emotionally traumatized. I'm not saying it should be legal because often it *will* hurt the animal *physically* because of the difference in size and built between animal and man... but to feel 'violated' you need to be able to reason out things like voluntary sex and all.... among many animal species it's purely a hormonal thing too, when a cat's in heat she'll settle for any tom, when a mare's in heat she's not exactly picky either, and those toms & studs aren't always gentle. Imagine people if any men would jump any women who happened to be in her fertile period? That'd be considered rape in humans, but for many species of animals it's normal, cats or mares don't feel bad about that kinda thing like we would.
No, protect the animals from physical harm just like we should if someone were beating them, but otherwise don't blow it out of proportion.

no men have sex with ugly women all the time i think some of them should be put down haha. no all rape should be classed the same you talk about rape agiesnt animals but men get raped and nothing is done to the women or men that rape men. the police just laugh and say how can you be raped by a woman.
i feel men should have there ***** chopped off and women who rape should be castrated that is better than death. ted

It IS a horrendous crime, but IMO, there are two worse crimes: CHILD RAPE and rape of another human (man OR woman). In truth, many acts of sex within the animal world can be seen as "rape", by our standards (rape of a female by other male ANIMALS!). Ducks do it, as do other species. I actually saw male ducks perpetrate gang rape on one female, at a park! So, If you want to execute rapists of animals, then male animals should be executed too!

We cannot AUTOMATICALLY apply the same emotional trauma to animal sex, whether forced or coerced in some way, that we do to human sex. Sometimes it IS traumatic and even lethal, and sometimes not, though it's still appalling.

And, if you are going to execute humans who rape animals, which is admittedly cruel, then by rights, ANYONE who hurts an animal (scientists who use them for experiments, dog trainers who use shock collars, zookeepers who keep giant animals in captivity, and so on...) should ALL be executed!

It is a very complicated issue and not easily solved. Until Men who rape WOMEN are punished properly, much less executed, then I am not going to spend much time on the issue of bestiality.

Frankly, I'm astonished that so many people care more about animal abuse than about child abuse and domestic violence, for instance, which is rampant! Spend your efforts on THAT! They are ALSO often linked!

They do not have a death sentence for people that rape a 6 yo do you think that would pass. Most people that have sex with animal are off in their head so you would be killing the sick for being sick. The rape of a child is by far worse.

I think no matter what kind of rape it is they should be put to death. It's the worst feeling in the world to feel so violated. I'm a little harsh but i believe there would be less rape if that was the law.

No I don't think there should be a death sentence for having sex with animals but I DO think there should be very harsh punishments for cruelty towards animals, like the ones that humans use to test our products on, etc.
