You must find your own purpose in life. One person's purpose can be trivial to another person. My purpose in this life is to love the woman that made me realize who I really am and makes me feel wonderful.
You must find your purpose, whatever it may be. Then follow it to fulfill that purpose. But if it is a materialistic gain that is your purpose, then you did not find the meaning of life.

Life is the name given for living. One must live to love. Every body in this world has some purpose. V shud search for the purpose. Searching makes us so satisfactiry.

Only you can answer this delicate question. As all the answers you get from others will only guide you to what they want you to be and not what you want, you may not be satisfied with this but on the other hand may also confuse you to some extent.
I feel the real answers are in starting to look for them inside you rather than from others, I really feel YOU CAN DO IT.
Here is the procedure. Do not close your eyes if you don't want to just be aware of all the surroundings feel good about them, slowly start to feel all the activities that are going on in your body (like feelings on the skin, still closer your heart beat, still closer your breath, still closer your thought and the stop concentrating on any of them just be aware of it. (Here you will come to one feeling how long ANSWER is with you)
Don't you realise that for the time you where doing this you forgot all the out side world and where inside your own universe

The purpose of life is simple if you look at the make up of our bodies. Our bodies are constantly recording and processing data gathered through trillions of sensorsory cells all over our body inside and out. Air pressure, temperature, texture, smells, light, color, distance, position, balance, speed, etc. The purpose of life is to explore buddy. What is life. Life it the time frame from which brain activity begins until the moment brain activity ceases. Should you even live? That depends on whether or not your done exploring.

Well I'm 15 so I'm sure my plans will change. But I'd like to be in a long loving marriage and have two kids. I think I'd be more than just a mother but a good friend to my kids and not make them feel awkward (like my parents do D:) I would also like to do something in art or designing. I like interior design or fashion design. Or maybe become an artist or writer. Something creative thats for sure. My ideas for my job is always changing, but I've always wanted to be a loving mother/wife and reliable friend.

i appreciate your question. well there are various answer's for you question . i ll put forward my ideas . Firstly, life is meant to be lived , there are lot of times when an individual can ask this first question you asked . Well you have to live your life because that is the gift that god entrusted your body with . Life is a challenge, face it . when life gives you million reason's to cry , you should prove life that you have million reason to smile . " Every body lives but what does it mean to truly live ???" is the question of life ,figuring that out is the purpose of it. well life is a chase for the reason to smile . you run behind various things in life like money, love, happiness ... so on . but all these are reason's to smile . so life is the quest to figure out and execute reason's to smile and a make the god's gift colourful . so live and let live .. be happy with what you have . don't waste your time in search of general purpose of life but figure out the purpose of your life .. so take care. keep smiling!!

According to me there is no such thing like purpose for life. Human being is just like other living things in the world. Like bees, dogs, cats, Lions and the like doesn't have purpose, man too doesn't have any purpose. Since man/women have 6 senses, they are superior to other living things and hence is able to control most of the things in the world including other living things and his own fellowmen.
Purpose is somethings which has to be identified by you. If you want to socialise and help others your purpose is 'Helping others'. If you do not want to give others but to keep whatever you earn, your puirpose is to live a 'Selfish' life. If you want to harm others by acquiring their things, say, property , your purpose of life is to live as a 'Traitor'. If you want to explore things as much as possible in a given field your purpose is to be a 'Scientist' or 'Philosopher'.
I can keep on telling you various purposes. But the list is endless. Hence it is upto you to identify the purpose and live your life as long as you live, whether short or long.
My ideans are straight and practical and not philosophical.
