i was thinking of gettin a tat of my 3 month old baby girls name done. i was going to get her face face on me but i think that will wait. where should i get at. i was thinkin down my back side of my arm or on my leg. her name is Nevaeh Grace. what yall think? it will be my first one. thanks

The heart is a great idea....
My hubby has one on each ankle and one on his wrist- each standing for one of our children. And for the newest baby he is getting foot prints on the inside of his forearm. Keep in mind since it is your first you may want to think of a spot that can be shown or covered- like on the chest or back.
Remember, fatty places hurt the least, then muscle places, and then on bone is the most painful.
And personal opinion- not on the neck, I think there is really not much more tacky than that. Unless, you have full body tats, then it works.

I think you should wear it proud so everyone can see it and get in down the back side of your arm. Unless you are sure you are going to get a portrait of her also, then your leg because there probably won't be enough room on the back of your arm next to her name. Good luck!

It's better to have it some place conceled, because many people see you have a tatoo don't even care of what it is and judge you the wrong way, But if that doesn't matter to you then get it on your forearm, if not your upper back

Aww how sweet. I have been wanting to get my son's name tattooed on me.
My husband has our son's name tattooed on his forearm and my name on his chest.
Go with the forearm. Old english letters looks good.
Good luck and oh yea it isn't that bad/painful to get a tattoo. I have a cross on my back and it stops hurting after 5 minutes when it goes numb.

I love the name and many guys get it on there arm. I know one who had it in the center of his back but i think the arm

i agree with pnutallergymom because it shows shes is always in ur heart 2 matter what and also ur daughter is something 2 keep close 2 u and the closest place u can get is ur heart

i think down ur belly Neveah coming down from ur rite nipple the Grace from the feft mah bf has that it looks rlly good and is differnt.

I think that it should be placed near your heart, as daughters are special and should always be held near daddys heart

on your chest so she will always be close to your heart, on your upper back so she will have a shoulder to lean on, your wrist so she will have a helping hand or your heel so she can follow in your footsteps.
