a baeutiful picnic spot and a place of themost famous temples like padmanabaswamy,bagavathi,vaikam etc.wonderful resorts are there.kumarakom resort is the most enjoyable one.house boats called cruises are there.you can also visit munnar a lovely mountain resort and wild life sanctuaries are there.
