No tylenol, is okay...it does NOT have aspirin in it. But on the other hand, aspirin thins the blood in your body and it will increase your flow somewhat. Tylenol products have NO aspirin in them, they have acetaminophen , which is a pain-fever/reducer for people who can't take aspirin. People that shouldn't take aspirin are those that are already on a blood-thinner for medical reasons. Take Mydol, it is triggered for the spasm that periods produce.

Aspirin and Tylenol are two completely different drugs. It is perfectly safe to take your Tylenol which is a pain reliever(not a blood thinner)during your period. Even if you took aspirin during your period your chances of bleeding to death would be almost nothing unless you have a preexisting condition that would cause it. Aspirin is a very mild blood thinner at that.
Being on your period you probably want to take Tylenol for cramping pain and sleep.

No way! Aspirin does not make you bleed more...it just thin out your blood...very good for small blood clots during menstruation. Those blood clots are one of the things that are making the cramps a little more painful.

No this is not true. While it is true that Aspirin makes you bleed easier. Your body is ridding itself of the lining of the cervix (and just that). I take an aspirin every day I am on my period. Helps with the pain, and makes my period shorter.

If that were the case it'd be because of caffeine, not the chocolate itself... however, if I remember correctly, it won't make you bleed heavier, but caffeine can exacerbate cramps. aspirin on the other hand, acts as a blood thinner so your flow will seem heavier.
