I wish we could get more people like Bryan to answer these silly questions he was one of 3 people who put any thought into answering this question intelligently.

Interesting, were you looking for answers, or making a statement? It appears to me that you have asked and answered your own question. The real unbiased answer to your question is that history will be the judge of that. Trying to state whether Bush is a good or bad president at this point is merely opinion either way. By definition opinion is not fact and can be neither right or wrong because of it's interpretation based on the worldview of the person performing the critique. When history reviews matters political ideology is removed for the most part and what we are left with is events, statistics and other factual data. How history will judge George Bush as a leader remains to be seen, but in my opinion he will not be considered the best president, nor will he be considered the worst.

I agree. Bush is a bad president. Even the "Only history will show" answer cannot escape the reality that this is an opinion question, and opinions are _effectively_ beliefs which require rationales if they are to be taken seriously.
_A COUPLE_ of reasons for my opinion include:
I. This president has little to no respect for separation of powers.
E.G.: The attempt to STRIP the judiciary of its perogative to hear habeas corpus claims.
II.
Bush does not respect the privacy of Americans.
50 USC 1802 states that warrantless wiretapping is allowed, provided that "there is no substantial likelihood that the surveillance will acquire the contents of any communication to which a United States person is a party." Bush essentially ignored the statute wholesale.

I guess that according to libs and other left wing crazies Roosevelt was responsible for all the US soldiers and not Hitler or the Nazis, and of course Lincoln was responsible for all the military deaths in the civil war...
Lefties need to learn more real history and stop reading all that hammer and sickle propaganda.
Given the current climate we will have to wait until the future when passions among libs has waned to truly analyze the current president.

I don't happen to feel he is a bad President. He is a President that some pretty horrible events happened during his terms in office that has defined what kind of President he needed to become. Only time will tell.
That doesn't matter to you though. You are here to play games and somehow make yourself feel superior, to what I don't know, but I doubt it even has a pulse..

If you consider a president that stands up to terrorists, Doesn't let people with political agendas push him around and only wants this countries security to be the best in the world and you've forgotten about 9/11. Then I guess he's a bad president.
Note: There hasn't been another terrorist attack in the U.S. since he became president......Hmmmmm...I wonder why?
