It is the right time that BCCI decides to select teams for different formats of cricket.Irfan Pathan should be inducted and retained in Indian cricket in ODI,s only.

what do u mean by him lagging?
i think that he is a brilliant player and all players have good and bad games and it is the same with pathan!
remember he is an all rounder and so if he doesnt bowl well he bats well and it is vice versa!
so he should definitley play!!

I strongly feel that irrespective of his recent poor form he should be encouraged to regain his form and become an useful allrounder, which India needs very badly, by making him play more matches. That is the only way to make him more confident.

no.. i guess his form s gettin poorer and poorer with the ball...he is more of a batsman in the side these days.. i think he should play more domestic matches and get some confidence under his belt... and if u r lookin at replacements the we have balaji,nehra,salvi,vrv singh..etc..

His confidence will grow only if he plays.Therefore he should continue playing both forms of the game.

i don't know when he played but i think he should play. He has to work through his stress in order to be successful cricketer.
