I have 3 that are pestering me terribly. Is there some sort of poison to put out for them? They're into everything. Also, I know that putting moth balls under my house will keep skunks out, will they work for the raccoons as well? Please help me.....

You and the last guy must live near me, I have both 'possums and 'coons all over the place looking for a place to den up for the winter.

Do not leave food laying around, this includes Bird feed, dog food or cat food. keep the garbage inside the garage and covered, I also found that spraying "Oust" to keep the smell down around the cans helps.

If it gets to bad, they've ripped my screens then get a live trap and haul then away. In Michigan you have to be careful of rabies.
When push comes to shove the fireproof method is the standby the .22 that's permanent but, we won't go into that.

trapping and removal is your best option. is there an animal control agent or game warden that serves your area? they may be able to trap and remove the critters for you
