I am 25 and have been into classical music for about 7 years. I don't like mozart and beethoven, I prefer more rousing orchestral music like tchaikovsky and dvorak etc.

I'm 25 too and I like classical music, it's not something I deliberately go out to buy though, or ever have done. But if it's playing I don't mind it. In fact coming home early doors from a night out once I caught a cab where the driver was playing classical music. Maybe it was the drink listening but it was fantastic! Got me in a nice, calm, sleepy mood for when I got in!

Waddya know! I'm 13, have loved classical music since age 3, at age 4 I browsed Encarta and learned about all of the composers, and memorised their styles and pieces, Also at age 4 i started to play the violin and still do. Currently I am in the Portola Advanced Orchestra (Better known as Portola Instrumental Music Lab), and am applying to the Hamilton Academy of Music in Downtown Los Angeles, despite my parents rejections. My favorite composer is Vivaldi, and my Favorite Piece is Franz Waxman's Carmen Fantasie and Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor.

All the truth...I swear on my honor, as Almighty God is my witness. (Even though i am agnostic)

To all of you ageist people and those who R curious: How can a mere teenager know all of this? U might ask...well... I dont know!

I'm 20 and love classical music, specifically opera. I was a very strange child, my parents never really liked classical music, but I've enjoyed opera ever since the age of 3. Now I'm pursuing a career as an opera singer.

LOTS

look up some youtube footage of the last night of the proms - if you can't find it, mail me, I'll forward it to you.

Even modern Pop/Rock needs a basic understanding of the underlying principles of music. (or girls wiggling their backsides on camera, which can be entertaining, but isn't really music)
